Hometown: Chicago (but technically Wheaton, IL)
Current residence: (mostly) Sunny San Francisco 🙂
Most treasured item in your closet: My Black leather jacket – it was an investment that I made right after college and worth EVERY penny!
Last book you read and loved: Foodist by Darya Rose. She gives a new take on eating healthy and making smart choices when it comes to the food you eat. Living in San Francisco has gotten me really interested in this topic and Darya writes about it well.
Describe your personal style in three words: Feminine, Evolving, and Comfortable

What do you do? I am one of the Co-Founders of NEAT Method – a luxury, residential organizing company in San Francisco, Chicago, San Diego, South Florida and Washington DC.

How do you define great style? Great style is having the ability to take all of the latest trends and figure out which work best for you. Everyone isn’t made to wear a jumpsuit (myself included!) so having a personal style filter is key!

How does your style aesthetic tie in with your work? When I am working in a client’s home, my style is incredibly casual. Working with clients usually includes moving someone into their new home so I have to be comfortable in what I am wearing. BUT when I am networking with potential NEAT partners I like to mirror my company – polished and creative!

Where do you find inspiration, both for your work and for your style? When it comes to work inspiration, San Francisco is a city of entrepreneurs so I am inspired daily – especially by all of the women launching companies!! My husband is a huge supporter of what I do (and of my clothing obsession)! I wouldn’t be where I am with NEAT without his constant, unwavering support and advice. For style, I love looking at the website I travel quite a bit so I have plenty of time to find inspiration in my two favorite magazines, Marie Claire and Vogue. I am shamelessly obsessed with Parisian style – so I am always checking out the latest lines and looks out of Paris 🙂

What should every girl remember when putting together an outfit? The most important thing I ask myself when purchasing new items is, “Do you love it?” If you don’t, it’s not worth buying. Nothing brings a damper to your outfit quite like a piece that you just feel “meh” about. When I started buying only things that I was crazy about, I started liking the way I looked on a more regular basis. I also share this advice with my clients. NEAT believes in simplifying your life. One of the best places to start is your closet. When you are down to only pieces you love, you are guaranteed to put together a great outfit!
